Bridging the Mobility Gap

The Y-Cane was designed to bridge the support gap in the current lineup of mobility devices.

See how the Y-Cane compares to popular alternatives.

Y-Cane vs.
Traditional Cane

For some users, traditional handle designs can lead to wrist strain, poor posture, and uncomfortable walking patterns. Over time, what's meant to help, can make movement feel less comfortable and less confident.

The Y-Cane's handle is designed to mirror the natural angle of your arm at rest — supporting posture, easing wrist strain, and encouraging a steadier, more natural stride.

Y-Cane vs.
Forearm Crutches

Forearm crutches offer stability and support, but they can feel bulky and some users end up adjusting how they walk to use them comfortably. For those who just need a little more support than a standard cane, they can sometimes feel too cumbersome.

The Y-Cane was designed with that gap in mind, giving you enhanced support without the bulk and restrictions.

Y-Cane vs.
Trekking Poles

Trekking poles provide lightweight, bilateral support that can help with balance. But they’re designed for hiking and outdoor terrain, not daily life.

The Y-Cane works wherever you go, usable as a single point of support or as a pair, while also offering wrist support for added stability.

Stories From the Telo Community

With the Y-Canes, I was able to make it to the top of Māngere Mountain in Auckland. This hike truly wouldn't have been possible without them. Since then, they've taken me across trails, beaches, and national parks. The Y-Canes have given me a new confidence when walking that's made navigating the world so much easier.

Before using the Y-Canes, I leaned on a single cane, my posture was off and I didn’t feel stable. With the Y-Canes, I stand taller and feel more independent. They’re my go to when walking any distance, giving me the confidence to conquer the day.
